The 5th International Conference on Small and Decentralized Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants (SWAT5) took place in Thessaloniki, Greece, from August 26 to August 29, 2018. The conference was organized by the Department of Chemistry, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the Division of Hydraulics and Environmental Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Food Technology Department and Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki.
The main conference goal was to present the best drinking water and/or wastewater treatment techniques, especially those related to small municipalities, communities, settlements, hotels or industrial plants, based on environmental, financial, technical and social criteria such as our project Life-ANADRY.
Life-ANADRY was presented in the conference during the posters session by UT SEMIDE. The main participants of the conference were representing the scientific community such as professionals, researchers, engineers and environmentalists. For more information, please check the official website.
